Hey y'all. I am so glad it's February. January was a long month! With Valentine's Day right around the corner, I wanted to stop in, share some great products with you, give you some freebies, and share some ideas for this LOVELY season!
One of my favorite things to do is have the kids bring in decorated Valentine's boxes. They are SO cute! I love to see how creative they (or their parents) can get! We stuff them full of amazing sweets and treats and then open them up too see how loved we are!
We used to have a Valentine's Day party, but now it is called “Friendship Day” in our district now. And I guess friendship doesn't warrant a party now. LOL! Anyways…during the Day of Friendship, we love to play bingo! It is a lot of fun and the kids can win prizes. I mean…I'm sure a few more pieces of candy won't hurt! Right?
I love to have this little Valentine's Day No Prep Packet on my student's desk when they arrive on Valentine's Day. It is packed with some amazing puzzles, games, and fun activities. This is great for any first grade or second grade class! I put a little Valentine's Day pencil with it so the students have something to work on during arrival time and during morning announcements. And, if I will be out the week of Valentine's Day, I like to leave some coloring or writing pages, like below. These are also great for stations!

Valentine's Day Math Bingo
And since I teach math, we love to incorporate this Valentine's Day Math Bingo game! I have used this at our Friendship Party, for math stations, and for our PBIS Fun Day for our grade level. The kids love it and don't even realize they are practicing their math facts since they are having so much fun!
