Alphabet Cards Match Up, Beginning Sounds Game

This is a set of 52 cards great for any reading station! This would be fabulous at the beginning of the year as a review of initial sounds.

This game is played like memory. The students lay out all of the cards (face down), flip over 2, and hope they get a match! The match is the picture to the initial sound letter. For example, “A is for…” and the picture of the apple. The cards have the upper and lower case letters on them.

I have also included a recording sheet!
