This is a fabulous set for showing kids how to represent numbers in different forms. This is perfect for 2nd grade, but will also work for 1st and 3rd. It includes number mats and “puzzle pieces” (in color and blacklines) where the kids can represent a number using:

-words
-base ten blocks
-place value
-expanded form

This is a great station activity! The students set out the puzzle piece cards and match them to the number on the number mats. There are 20 cards and they go up to 1,200. The following numbers are included: 17, 23, 88, 125, 204, 239, 311, 360, 451, 532, 605, 776, 814, 950, 997, 1,015, 1,072, 1,103, 1,150, 1,200.
